This isn't a basic webhook. 8returns pushes 6 specific lifecycle events into Klaviyo, each carrying rich data about the return.

The events – return_registered, shipment_label, return_arrived, return_inspected, return_completed, and return_cancelled – map to the actual stages of a return. Each one carries the data you need to build real flows: customer name, order number, RMA, returned items with SKU, return type, reason (including German translations for DACH markets), refund amount with currency formatting, and shipment tracking details.

What makes this useful: merchants can replace 8returns' built-in notification emails entirely with Klaviyo flows. That means full control over design, timing, and logic. You can build multi-step sequences – a return confirmation email, followed by a "your package arrived" update, then a review request after the refund posts. Add conditional branches based on return reason, item value, or customer lifetime value.
